Vasant means Spring. We met him at our hotel in New Delhi, and we saw him every day while we were at the hotel. The background is actually from the Taj Mahal. Vasant had such an elegant face which was complemented by his attire and beautiful red and white headdress. It seemed only appropriate for him to be placed at the Taj Mahal
