This is Arvind, the groom. I was fortunate to attend this traditional wedding in New Delhi. My family and I were welcomed into the homes of the families of the bride and groom to celebrate this occasion. The ceremonies were filled with fun and dancing, ritual, and a sharing of the heart. As part of the ritual, the groom is given this wafer during the ceremony.
