THE BARBER

While walking through the alleys of Central, Hong Kong, I came upon this barber at work. His shop was a chair in an alley; his barber tools lying on a make-shift shelf on the side of a make-shift shop next to a high-rise building. He had been there for many years and this woman is one of the many customers who have been coming for many years to have their hair cut and/or face shaved. He seems to know each of his clients very well as he chats with them about their lives and shares stories of his own.
