While driving on an old dirt road near Punta Baluarte in the Philippines, I spotted this local farmer astride a carabao (water buffalo) among the banana plants. He appeared so majestic seated on this most beautiful animal. His face was weathered, yet gentle, beneath his hat which had a curve not unlike the worn lines of his face.
